WHO WE ARE

Fieldworks Land & Farm is a partnership and collaboration of Stina Seaberg and Rink DaVee. We began working together at the end of 2024 to manage a vegetable farm and orchard in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. Together we have over 30 years of experience as farmers & land stewards.

More about Rink: I came to farming through food, working at Chez Panisse with Alice Waters, where I developed a deep respect for ingredients and how they’re grown. In 1991, I moved to Wisconsin to apprentice on a vegetable farm. I then operated my own farm for over 20 years with a focus on seasonal production and direct markets. Today, through Fieldworks, I work as part of a small, dedicated team caring for farms and managing land—growing food, building systems, and supporting the long-term health and function of each place. I value consistency, close observation, and adapting to each season, while also paying attention to aesthetics. Farming continues to challenge and engage me, and I bring both curiosity and a respect for the work it takes to do it well.

More about Stina: I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. After working in the restaurant industry as a chef, I moved to Brooklyn New York where my connections through cooking led me to working with North Brooklyn Farms & the rooftop farming company Brooklyn Grange. My role with both organizations provided impactful experiences from building community through public engagement at North Brooklyn Farm to designing, building and co-managing a 1 acre rooftop farm and 10,000 square foot food forest on the newly expanded Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan. Now that I am back in Madison, I continue to build meaningful relationships through growing food. In my spare time, I enjoy working on various fiber arts projects, walking the east side of Madison with my boyfriend, and cooking meals for loved ones.
